Designed and developed in collaboration with Dupont de Nemours Italiana SpA, MaFlex™ is the most advanced solution available to support the "last generation" in hose manufacturing.
Thanks to the joint efforts of Dupont® and Mazzer, together with significant participation from leading hose leading manufacturers worldwide, it was possible to develop a product to "fill a gap" left unattended for too long. The result was the assurance of quality standards essential to hose manufacturing process capability criteria.

What are the MaFlex™ Advantages?

TOTAL FREEDOM FROM AIR VOIDS.
MaFlex™ is produced with exclusive materials and machinery, to assure the total freedom from air voids inside the mandrel, which are generally due to the material shrinking after the extrusion. This will allow the mandrel to retain dimensions during the curing cycle.
SUPERIOR DIMENSIONAL STABILITY
MaFlex™ does not shrink like all other flexible mandrels and assures, over time, exceptional dimensional stability. Furthermore, MaFlex™ always ensures a perfect mandrel extraction, eliminating brittleness and breakage common to other mandrels after the curing cycle.
VERY HIGH FLEXIBILITY
The MaFlex™ thermoplastic material allows degrees of flexibility very close to that of rubber mandrels, with unbeatable advantages in factory handling and manufacturing.

MaFlex™ is not affected by thermal variations induced by curing agents such as sulphur or peroxides.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
MaFlex™ has no additives or other potentially polluting elements; it can be easily recycled or regranulated without creating environmental problems.
